Holy crap -- whoever suggested that Justin Timberlake Suit & Tie song...my room hates you, but I think I love you, lol!

What you can see is the water jumping all over like mad, what you can't see is the glass was wobbling like an inch, I thought it was going to tip over, lol.

edit: it also lets me know just how damn reverberant my room is, I pause it, and the echos are present for an obnoxious period of time....ugh; treatments NEEDED!

Just listened to that song. Wow, It is actually a really good song, I never listened to it on my home theater before. It really played well with my FV15HP. Lots of good clean bass.

I have mentioned this once before but I have to put it out there again.  It is still my favorite bass demo song, even though there is not any sick sub 20Hz stuff in it that I know of.

Must Be the Feeling by Nero(Flux Pavillion and Nero Remix).

The bass starts out pretty strong but goes to another level around 1:27.  Check it out and let me know what you think.

Archaea,

A few favorites from my house last Friday.

Rusko - Everyday (Netsky Remix)
Usher - Climax
Sine Wave - 14Hz

A few more that kill in my room I wish I could have played for you.

Blue Foundation - Eyes on Fire (Zeds Dead Remix)
Trinidad James - All Gold Everything (Protohype & Carnage Festival Dub Remix)

That last one is really explicit, but the whole song is pretty much a sine wave...lol.

I'd recommend the 5.1 mix of The Cardigans - Erase and Rewind , at the end of the The Thirteenth Floor movie bluray, there is some LFE bass there that isnt in the CD version. And thats not the only song in a Hollywood movie that has extra LFE bass .

Yeah, I was never really too cognizant of Timberlake but that is a sweet little tune, I must admit. Kudos to him. Thanks for the track.wink.gif

Maybe im one of the few rock guys here but one of my favorites is "Two weeks" by All That Remains.
The fast and punchy double kick drum fills sound great on a good subwoofer. The whole album "Overcome" is great for that.

The new release from the band Red has some great lows and overall production.

Im not a huge fan of The Black Keys but I love the warm low tuned kick drum samples on their album "Brothers".

Those are a few of the discs im enjoying testing subs with lately.

A little off-topic, as there's not much for bass...but I just listened to All That Remains's "The Waiting One" and very faintly in the background I could hear the same vocals overlaid in his "screaming" voice, and I've never heard that before! It was like dead center, slightly behind the melodic vocal track. Pretty cool!

Thanks for the recommendation! Excellent song in general, that!

Also agree that one can often find really good new multi-channel mixes in soundtracks (sometimes with extra low frequency extension). Other examples of tunes that sound better as soundtrack than on their CD/Spotify counterpart are the Bon Iver songs in the fantastic French movie Rust & Bone. Also the Daft Punk soundtrack in Tron Legacy is so much better in its multi-channel version than the CD/Spotify counterpart.

That Usher song is Epic! Clean! It has fantastic soundstage in my room. You'd swear your life savings that the center channel is on, when the song is played in Stereo. It's solely where Usher's vocals are coming from!

Good tight bass, nothing too low but it pounds and sounds great at high volume

Was a staple in my childhood and used to be "the" go to bass song when it was time to get rowdy.

Clean song without too much else going on down low, so a boost really adds to the song.

Think we were running it a bit hotter than that when we had everyone at my place...
