"Sydney Blu - Give It Up For Me" was really a cool track with the tactile bass waves on the nearfield subs. To get that tactile feel on only the front bank of subs I'd have to go WAY above reference levels.

Start at about 30 seconds - when that deep bassline kicks it - it just pulses depth!!! At points, it feels like the subs is moving and you are getting the accoustic energy in variation from what you are hearing. Pretty cool effect!
Definately demo worthy, my favorite of my nearly 2 hour listening session last night.

Yep youtube seems notorious for cutting back the lowest frequency content on their clips. Many of my mp3s and local files sound much deeper than the youtube variant.

In a wrap mood. Doesn't get really deep, but seems like it would be a good candidate for the Othorns @lukeamdman. Gangster stuff starts at 0:54.

I'll check this one out tonight when I get home!

The Othorns can really melt your face in the 25-35hz region, which also happens to be my favorite range for music.

Small doses man... Dude is angry... Drama started getting on even my nerves after a few min...lol.

I think it might be centered a bit higher than 25-35 even... Kinda reminds me of the sound you get on those songs that were made specifically just for bass...

Has anyone gone back and listened to the original Halo soundtrack on their modern subwoofer systems? Who knew it had such deep rich bass?

Check out Halo by Martin O'Donnell, and Michael Salvatori.

Just the self titled track. From 33 on --- even on crappy youtube's audio - there is a LOT going on in the depths on this song! This is one where sealed nearfield come into their own.

There is TONS of deep deep deep inaudible bass. Sitting here vibrating right now in my theater chair with my nearfield sealed providing excellent fun.

My favorite right now is Nothing Else Matters on Metallica's Through The Never Blu-ray. Make sure you choose the 5.1 DTS-HD track.

I have to bring this tune up again. I had forgotten all about this one, and as I was sifting though an Mp3 folder just now, I rediscovered it. Just wow. Here is a spectragram of a portion of it:

You can see some high energy dips into the single digit frequencies. This tune will make your cones move, no matter how large the drivers are or how many subs you have.

I am going through Harry Bercules' soundcloud channel, and caught this tune, "Pseudocode", very bass heavy and atmospheric tune. If you like lots of output in the 20's and 30's, you will like this one:

Another doozy from Harry Bercules, "Walken's Pendulum". Most of the energy in this tune is below 20 Hz- so most of this song lay below the frequency threshold of human hearing!

I discovered this track through Spotify. Unfortunately the YOUtube version doesn't hit near as hard, but this has got some crazy deep bass through the actual Spotify web player: (especially around the 2:30 mark)
