Its been a while spy boy question for you, i was going to get another sub25 but now there discontinued and no word of them coming out with a new version as yet. you know i have the sub25 i am wondering if i purchased the dd18 plus will it be ok with my system? dumb question but i would end up having a monster 15inch sub on one side and anoher monster 18inch sub on the other. unless my hook can find me another sub25, i will have 240 volts outlets as well

I am sure both combined would pressure large rooms like my basement.

I would say that it's 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other. You simply can't go wrong either way. smile.gif

I'm sure you can, but a person with money is not going to think twice about buying this sub. Same as buying a car. Some one with money will buy a Lambo or a Ferrari no matter how expensive it is even though you could get better performance from a GT-R35 around the track wink.gif

I am the proud new owner of a gifted DD 18+ that had been deep in storage since the owner bought a Sub 2.

This baby rocks...but is a little wild right now. I think she needs to be tamed!?!

Congratulations!!!! You are the owner of a DD 18; but, that's not the DD 18+. That's the previous model DD 18. Click on the link below to see what the new DD 18 looks like:

Whoa! Thanks ninja! I never would have caught that, I went off what I was told. Sure enough I looked on the back, and yup there it was. Mystery solved.

Still a strong sub for me, I am really glad for the opportunity to own it. Gift and all makes it so sweet.

Yes... a single Orbit Shifter is going to have more output than 4 captivators above 20hz..

It's a 1:2 ratio for orbit shifter to ported caps above 20 hz. Per Jeff Permanian, owner of JTR.

Nearly one year later with my DD-18, and she is a beast! Love all the bass. My wife is having a baby in the summer, I playing everything lower now to get ready for likelihood being asked to turn it all down, down, down.
