I had a sony xplod 1100w 10" sub hooked up to my sony xplod 1000w amp and it blew. I am wondering if these two 12" kenwoods would function well with the amp.

AMP: Sony Xlpod 1652z
- 1000W max power
- 165W x 2, 20Hz - 20kHz, @ 0.04% THD + N, at 4 Ohms
- 200W x 2, 20 - 20kHz, @ 0.15% THD + N, at 2 Ohms
- 400W x 1, 20Hz - 20kHz, @ 0.1% THD + N, at 4 Ohms
- OTL (Output Transformerless) circuit
- Pulse power supply
- Line & High Level Inputs
- .3-6V Level Adjustment Control (RCA Pin Jacks) 1.2-12V (High Level Input)
- 80 Hz, -18dB/octave Low Pass Filter Switch

Subs: I am going to be running two of these

Brand New Kenwood KFC-W3013PS 12" 4 Ohm Performance Series Car Subwoofer With 1200 Watt Peak / 400 Watt RMS Features: 12" Performance Series Car Subwoofer Polypropylene Cone Woofer with Diamond Array Pattern Rubber Surround Dual Ventilation System Silver Plated Terminals 8 AWG Speaker Wire Capable Double Stacked Magnet Long Stroke Structure

The enclosure I already have, its an absolute usa 2 x 12 ported cab with built in tweeters.

I haven't heard the greatest of things about kenwood subs, but on the other hand if it will work well with my amp then I could care less for $75. But if someone has a suggestion for two other 12" subs that are around $100 I won't be too picky, I would just like to use the enclosure I already have.

I would post links but it said that I was spamming so sry, but all the specs are posted, please help me out, I want to avoid blowing out more subs or underpowering them because I have heard that it can be just as bad.

should work fine but for future reference this forum is for home theater subs and you would likely get better info in a car audio forum.
