True , but after the contractor came over last night , the room could end up being close to 31x29x8...bout 7200 cubes..I highly doubt it would end up that size , that is the absolute most!....Plus if I do wait , i lose the 60 day full refund off the 1801's.....

Define "girlfriend". My uncle has been with his girlfriend about 45 years. He refused to marry, because all his friends' marriages were disasters. It's worked for him so far.

Hey I just finished brewing 5 gallons of a black IPA and last week I brewed 5 gallons of traditional IPA (if there is such a thing). If you let me hang out in your pool I'll bring the beer.

If your build ends up any where near that large than you will definitely want the V3601... I can almost guarantee it. In fact, you may end up going with a second one some day.

You got it. The profile image has to do with my home brewery. I have a lot of tree frogs in the woods around the house so I named by brewery after that fact (tree frog brewery). And I like hoppy beers so I brew more of them than any other style... that's where the name comes from. In the end it's all about the beer.

Even if you made your room that large you may want to have your subs nearfield behind you. Try the V1801s behind your sofa and you would be suprised how much feel you get regardless of how big the room is. And you may not need anything more than dual v1801s behind you.....and if you wanna go even lower just look into transducers which would get you into single digits. Try that and if you feel like you need more subwooferage.....there is V3601.

V1801's are some potent ass subs. Having 1 combined with 3 15v's gives me violent midbass slam...the ulf range is just silly. Watched Logan @ only -15 and when he drove the car into the fence, all the blinds in my house were literally bouncing off the windows.

That being said, my 60 day trial is almost up. I am definitely keeping it! Not trading in anything, I am rolling 4 subs deep. Now you can send me my T-shirt. 👍

Very true...but that multiple projects going on will hit the bank along with a new house payment , In my head easier to get the 2 v3601's now while it wont cost me anything , as opposed to later when I have nothing to spend !!! lol

My house. I can't sell it since it's a home brew but if you ever make a short trip north it'll be here. You can try it out while experiencing a high octane PSA set up anchored by dual V3601's.

Yep...I needed a good month of just listening with it properly integrated to truly experience how good it is.

Curious to see how well it fares Marc Alexander's GTG.

Red face

Hey everybody how are things?

I'm not dead. Just really busy with work. Thankfully I passed my probationary period. So I guess no longer a new job.

So what did I miss?

I know it's not PSA stuff, but just thought I'd share with you guys what I did for my lil guy today. He's always enjoyed watching all his shows on my system, so I decided to surprise him and hook up a little 5.1 setup in his room
Denon avr, vizio 55", Yamaha speakers n sub and Sony blu ray player.
He's only 3 and a half but he absolutely loves it! (I already trained him to load movies and he only touches the volume control)

I picked up a V1801 at @bulls house tonight. He has his duals setup nearfield as end tables for the couch and the tactile feel is perfect. The V1801 is my favorite aesthetically vs the FV18 and JTR Cap 118 (base finish).

The true tests will be the single V1801 farfield in my den as well as the outdoor CEA-2010 2m RMS groundplane measurements. Stay tuned…

He's only 3 and a half but he absolutely loves it! (I already trained him to load movies and he only touches the volume control)

What I wanna know is how you trained a 3 year old to keep his room that clean!

I probably broke 100 vacuum belts over the years sucking up my kids action figures and Lego's`

You've set the bar high! Next year you'll have to really bring it with Atmos, UHD Blu-ray, and Crowsons for the bed!

You held on to the V1500s so long! It's probably a good thing you must return the other subs first. I can imagine the post:

Should I keep all of the subs and I run 2 V3601s with 2 V1801 and 2 V1500s nearfield? 😜

I am excited that there will soon be V3601s nearby! I had a great time visiting @bulls and his V1801s last night. His kids are delightful and love daddy's "boom-boom" woofers just like my son (he calls it subwoofing!). 👍
