Did you mean positioning cables for visual aesthetics? Surely you didn't hear any sonic improvement from positioning cables?

Well, actually I did. It's hard to properly position a subwoofer with a fifteen foot cable when you need a twenty-five foot cable.

I wonder if I flip my wireless controllers upside down will it reduce peaks? smile.gif Hell that might of been the answer all along and I could of saved 800.00 not needing to add a third XV15 rolleyes.gif

Actually, it's the room acoustics. Room measuring does that as it allows one to see their room as sound waves see their room.

What's entertaining, due to having room measuring capability, I can see which subwoofers are the dominant pair and which subwoofer steers the room's acoustics and one can see how the center channel steers the right side of the graph and how the mains and the surrounds don't do poop to the graph. What's even more entertaining is having an epiphany......comprising of at least a half watt, that when effected, improves the "Mean Joe" Greene room null. Now on the other hand, what's not entertaining is being the sole individual in the room at the time the subwoofers are being moved around the room.

Oh, OK. Proper length cables is always assumed, however "positioning cables" has a completely different context to most, if not all of us.

Cables used for positioning are called positioning cables. Cables are cables and then you have adjectives. Maybe I should have posted the subwoofer's positioning cable as opposed to the research ship's positioning cable. You're right, it's quite easy for this type of context to be confused with each other.

Google "Positioning Cables"

No matter where one goes, I guess people will always find something to argue about. Wishing you well.

Nothing like the adrenaline rush of pulling the string on such an expensive purchase.

If you have to suffer the indignities of life, following your style of an upgrade path sure beats the alternatives.
