Not to mention your shipping is most likely cheaper than if you were doing it without a business account and from home.

Just think if you got 6 more Triax subs.... You might just be the king of the hill! You would have 21 15" drivers with 28,000 watts rms and 56,000 watts peak!!! eek.gifeek.gifeek.gifeek.gifeek.gifeek.gifeek.gif

It's funny because every day at my job I'm shipping equipment that weighs from 5,000lbs to 30,000lbs so ups, fed ex, and all kinds of other companies are in and out all day. Plus I'm surrounded with pallets so a 200lb sub would be a light weight to ship. biggrin.gif

Don't tempt me! Lol. My power in this house would fry, plus I need to start working out again to be able to begin stacking that many subs hehe. I'm hoping this power downstairs in my room can handle just 2 Triaxs, it'd be awesome if it works

Going from XT to XT32 made a huge difference in my room. Much smoother results after Audyssey XT32.

^Refurb = No Thanks. Usually, I'd have no problems going refurb, but the Denon's seem to lack quality control or carry the issues.

I can only speak from the level of one who's bought a bunch of referbs with good experiences to report and one who's budget demands, that the finer things in life come from refurbished offerings cause I can't rationalize to my wife, the thousand dollar difference in price between a new/refurbished 4520ci and I would much prefer the amplifier section of a 4520ci over that of a X4000.

The good news, I'll still have a Marantz, SR5008 to fall back on should I have to send the 4529ci in for warranty work.

(besides, how many new items has everybody here purchased that despite being "NEW," was DOA?)

Gotcha about the amp section...but since I dont use AVR internal amps..this is moot for me wink.gif

The amplifier section in the 4520Ci is more robust when it comes to demanding speaker calls of 2ohms and the 4520ci comes with XT32.

...............................

Just saw that you're using an outboard Amp. In doing so you're good with the X4000. I want to get by without an outboard Amplifier so I have fewer plugs, jumper cables and heat production.

My refurbish Denon has been back once. It still has gremlins. Denon says it tests to spec. Unfortunately my warranty is up next month and they have not been able to fix the issue. Wish I had gone new just for the longer warranty.

What problems are you currently having and what happens when you go up the chain of management to the next level? What does the business you bought it from have to say on these warranty issues?
