I'll let additional V3600i orders dictate that.

I've had the V3600i punishing the office for about a week straight now. Solid extension into the mid teens and, as expected, very powerful in the deep bass(equal to about dual V1500s IIRC). The mid and upper bass headroom is incredible though. I knew it would have "slam" but really wasn't expected just how much. I think we're close to the big ID horns in the mid/upper bass. Combine that with extension into the mid teens and the V3600i is quite unique in what it brings to the table for potential customers.

Tom, this might not make much sense, but I'm glad the pre-order pricing is over.

I felt like a junkie around the house, needing a fix, and looking for things to sell so I could snag a V3600.

Even my wife noticed the behavior - but I told her I was looking for my Legos. Phew.

Does anyone actually have the V3600i in their hands? First impressions? Cracked drywall? Maybe I just missed the pictures and opinions from owners earlier in this thread. My neighbor got in on the pre-order pricing and I believe he said his will be at the door early next week. He's coming from a DIY single Dayton 12" build...so, just a slight upgrade. I've been shaking his house for almost 2 years now; it's his turn!

Shipments will begin late this week. I'd say Friday is a good guess +/- a day. If we miss on that it will be by a day or two....nothing like weeks.

Went to buy a 2nd XS30 and miniDSP to find out there was actually a b-stock XS30 from a 3600 trade-up that wasn't listed on the site yet. So who's XS30 did I just buy?

Well, if it was from a dual S3000i trade up, it was mine.

Since the V3600 havent shipped yet and my XS30 just made it back to PSA last week it probably is. Glad to see that it didnt sit idle for long and will now have a brother to play with. Have fun!!!!

Heh, hopefully learning REW and getting both subs integrated won't be too frustrating. I feel like I've read everything I can the past few weeks and just need some hands on learning now.

I am flat @ reference +/-3db from 20-90hz. I did get some other measurements saved...also no clipping yet, but it is borderline at reference, I think there is 1.5db of headroom to spare.

last graph is a compression sweep I took before any eq was applied...you can look at the lowest sweep to compare base response to post eq. I was able to squeeze another 2db in the 18-20hz range and pull the 30hz peak down, to flatten the response.

I've been thinking about putting the MiniDSP back in the chain too. Haven't had it in at all with the T-18s. What sort of filters do you think I should use to bring up the ULF? I've never fooled with the filters, I just let REW do it automatically (and would remove any that were superfluous).

I'd like to bring down the whole response between 20-120hz, in essence bringing up the <20hz response....think that would work?? I know that I can't effect the response above 100hz a lot, but I've had success before with it effecting up to around 120hz (with a 90hz xover).

Or maybe I shouldn't mess with it at all.

Just take your time and follow Jerry's guide. People here will help if needed. REW immediately revealed a huge dip at my crossover point (80hz) that was taken care or with the time delay on the new ICE amps. MiniDsp will help things like that as well. Just saying that REW isn't all that hard once its set up-and that can be the real PITA in some cases.

I am no expert and others are definately more qualified but I did something similar to try and deal with a dip in the 35-55 range. By using the room size, I adjusted down into the lower portion of the dip ended up with a pretty good graph.

Did I lose some headroom and doing this? I dont know, but maybe and I may go back and re try other options. I also ended up with a 10db bump below 15HZ.

No variable room size on the T-18s. Anyways, I have them both set to "Large Room" mode...there's no more to be had in the ULF without some sort of EQ.

Yeah, but that's where the MiniDsp come into play, correct? That's where I was going with this, sorry for being vague there.

Just a thought...... with adding a Minidsp, could you effectively add that in the chain and make adjustments within EQ only to see if its worth going all out and messing with anything else? This way if it doesn't not look promising, just remove the eq box and your back where you started?

I see that the s3000i and some other PSA products offer veneers, however I couldn't find any pictures that show what they actually look like on the site. Does anyone know where to see pictures of the various veneers? Thanks.

I too would find that useful. Hard to order based on veneer names alone.

So I ended up calling PSA and speaking to Tom. You can find pictures of the various veneers that are offered by clicking here and navigating to the "Specifications" tab.

No need for a facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/powersounda...=page_internal

Go through the picture and you'll find several pictures of the veneers they offer.

It is and that's a big reason why I have a hard time getting too much bass. My buttkickers have gone a long way in getting a large part of that tactile sensation back that only a suspended floor room can give as well. Between the kickers and subs though I have been very happy. Last audio upgrade I did was six years ago when I added the last Ultra, so I feel like I am due for something new with the 3600 and 210s.

Wow so you currently have 3 Pb13? And now you are adding a V3600. Very interesting. Do you have pictures of your room? How about graphs?

My room is sealed and small too (17.5 x 11 x 7.5 tall) so you have me very curious.

Many have stated to me that sealed room go sealed sub. You have all ported so how do you like it? Any thoughts of trying sealed subs?

Just curios but do you ever hear any port noise on your 3 PB13?
