Jeff,

Sucks that you're in a hospital, my friend. I hope it's nothing serious and you'll be back on your feet and cruising AVS very soon!

Couple updates,

The "under $1000" field just got a couple of new players...

http://www.powersoundaudio.com/colle...s/products/15v

http://www.powersoundaudio.com/colle...s/products/15s

Re-intro of the XV15se and XS15se. This time we're using the new ICE modules and stand offs(instead of "feet") that are extensions of the cabinet itself. Performance and aesthetics both improved.

As a relatively new owner of two XS15se subs at least I'm glad the price has increased.

Quick question (dumb) does just turning DNEQ off raise the sub level to make it run hotter or do you just manually up the trim levels?

I won't be posting much as I'm real shaky right now and I'm using a phone, I forgot to take my laptop here. Hopefully I'll be home in a couple of days, and I'll have a lot to say.

That's a great deal for those subs. The inclusion of the ICE amps really gives these subs "Great Bang for the Buck" status.

Guys it's a pleasure and a Blessing to have you all as friends, your warm, kind and well wishes are so genuine I can feel them here in my heart.

I won't get into the details of why I'm in the hospital, suffice it to say I'm like an old Model T with a lot of hard driven miles on it and can't get a decent trade in value. :-)

With any luck I should be going home tomorrow. A couple new XV's with ICE will make some nice near field end tables to compliment my V1800s. Think so?

Jim F. send my misses an email with instructions how to purchase two GCs for the 15s so I can act surprised when I get home. That will surely add some pep to my step .

Talk soon my Brothers.........

With Best Regards, Jeffrey

While I would love to buy a new sub, there is really no reason, my v1800 super charges my room I was playing with test tones today, and in my room, 10 hz was unbearable, unbelievable, this thing is so much more than I bargained for

Jeff - since you are keeping up with the thread as you recover I too like many of the PSA family wanted to send my wishes for a quick and easy recovery from whatever put you in the hospital. Hopefully you had at least one attractive caregiver. Without a doubt you'll feel a 100% better once you roll out of that place and can get back home to finish up your recovery. Take my friend, Steve

Speaking of missing in action, does anyone know what happened to Nalthien? The last I heard is that he purchased two S3000i’s over two V1500’s. Shortly thereafter, silence.

Hmmmm....no response at HTS, so I'll ask here (HTS seems to be having problems)....

Are these new models replacing the V1500 and S1500? Looking at the specs they look almost the same.

Are these new models replacing the V1500 and S1500? Looking at the specs they look almost the same.
No, no plans at all to discontinue the S1500 or V1500. We still get a lot of potential customers who prefer down firing and plenty looking for best performance at lower price points. There's some overlap between the models to be sure but there's enough differentiation that we feel they will all coexist just fine..

Hop - thanks for the heads up - I just popped in and grabbed an Anti Mode 2.0!

So I think I NEED the v3600i, that looks like one helluva sexy sub.. Current setup is in my 1000sqft garage, how much of an improvement should I expect over my old Klipsch RSW-15?

Audio: Denon 4520ci with B&K Reference 200.7
