This is just my small view of things, but I have never seen them wish they went with something else either. It always seems to be a case of "these subs are darn impressive.... Now I must have more!!!"

And at the price points Tom/Jim have set, it's pretty darn achievable.

You need to manually adjust those little dials on the back panel(and make sure the toggle switches are set correctly).

The Studio 100s are really good speakers but they aren't going to have the headroom the XS15se does <100hz. I know it may seem counter intuitive to set the 100s for a 100-120hz highpass but give it a shot....at least 100hz. And leave it that way for a couple days while we trouble shoot the phase / distance /etc..

Found a better picture for you

thanks for the tip Tom.. yup toggle switches are both turned in so the high and low pass are turned on..

the low pass dial is set a tad higher than the high pass dial just so no gap.. tiny bit.. turning the dials is not easy behind my rack lol

but I cant say enough about the clean sounding performance of the analog xsp 1 pre amp great value for your money.. blow any avr out of the water sq wise.

Big Dan over at emotiva just announced that xmc 1 will start shipping out to people very soon.. that is going to be one heck of a pre pro for ht n 2channel .. I will wait for reviews to come out and have to save my peanuts again.. lol

didn't do any work on the subs settings to sore..

cheers

ps so I started with 2 subs now thinking about getting 4 or 6 LOL
