The are still in their boxes and not opened. I will let them stay like this untill the trims, doors and baseboards go in. I dont want anything to get damaged before I start playing with them.

As to why I went with CHT.... it comes down to value for the money and customer service to me. Anytime I had a question Craig was right there to answer and to give advice. He did not ever put down the other company and thats what I really liked. Peter from HSU was the same way but again it came down to value for the $$$$.
Once I get them all unpacked and setup I will post pics of the finish and my thought about the sound. For now however, my wife thinks we got two bar fridges lol

Congrats!!!!!!!

I'm sure you'll definitely not regret this purchase! I know I'm not regretting mine at all.

That's the same thing I thought when I got my dual VS18's. Moving them around felt comparable to moving around a couple of small fridges.

You're reasoning behind your purchase is partly why I went with the CHT subs as well.

Also the other part was the overwhelming majority of happy customers.

I read your review and it was done well man. Posting graphs showing what your're hearing would be the cement on your review.

Those are the nicest looking boxes I've ever seen.

Would love to drop by once you have them up and running if I could, I'm in Richmond Hill, so just a hop, skip and jump across the 407 ...

Could even help you set them up. What are you going to use to EQ?

Edit: Nm ... thought they were the sealed boxes vs the vented!

My first impression was the same reaction on the boxes. lol Fortunately it's what's in them that counts.

What this forum really needs is a high pass filter for intelligence, so we can be spared from listening to your ridiculous bs.

So i took one out of the box to see what the finish is like. How can i put this.... its waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I expected it to be. Simply love it. Its textured and not too shiny. All the corners and nicely done and the driver itself is wow... I have never seen 18" driver before hehe... now I hope they sound as good as they look.... or better

I will post much more detailed pics when I clean the place up and the construction and dust is over. This one went back into the bags it came in. The other one will remain untouched hehe.

I have to say... I dont want to be moving these things by myself too much.

This will be their final resting spot hehe.

This is my wife all 5'2" of her 100Lbs frame beside one of these monsters.
