Just got it home, tests a.o.k! The only thing is it's missing its legs. I'm gonna have to fabricate them. Any suggestions?

The one on top is mine:

Yeah, he wanted $15 but I didn't know what it was at the time so I offered 5 just in case it didn't work. I figured at the very least the 8" driver looked SOLID and I could use that elsewhere if the amp was toast. After I got home and googled it I finally started to realize what I had. Tested good, now I just have to figure out something for legs.

My plan was to give it to my son for his 2ch computer system so he can have 2.1. His bookshelfs are Dayton B652s. His room is carpeted so I don't know how well it will integrate being that it's a down-firing sub. Maybe I should give him my Bic F12 and keep the REL for MY 2ch rig!

The T3 is a big step up from the Bic. The last T3 I heard sounded excellent with music. Very tight and accurate.

When you heard it, do you know if it was connected via the Speakon cable or via the RCA LFE input?

Having carpet and being down firing will have no negative effect on the performance.

When I figure out how to fabricate some legs would you advise using carpet spikes? Seems the logical thing to do.

Sure. Parts express has a bunch of them.

Dumb enough to spend lots of cash on this junk!

I would contact REL first, to find out what it would cost for legs for it. Might be cheaper than you think and look better as well.

Theres a passive radiator on the bottom... if you arent using legs then flip it over so the passive radiator is firing upwards

Home Depot has wooden legs with a threaded bolt attached. Just got some this weekend for a stand I made. Don't know if they would work for you.
