Wait until you try four S2's. eek.gif

Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford four S2's.

Until then I'll just have to make due with my four budget subwoofers.
A quad sub setup is the only way to go!

Hi everybody, im new on the forum ( im comming from the Netherlands ) and i just orderd the S1 by Jeff.
I was wondering who has allready the S1 at home and how your reaction was at the first time you heard it? Is it realy that good and is it much better than the svs pb13 ultra ore the fathom f113? The specs / curve let me see a verry verry good view from the sub but i am curious about your opinion!
I am buying the sub blind and i never heard the sub before! Please your reactions ill be thankfull. I have also a question, comes there also a microphe ore software by the sub ore is it just plug and play. With other words can i play with settings from the dsp amp?allready thanks from the Netherlands,
Frank

I can't compare to those specific subs, but I can tell you that the sub will be awesome.

You can't mess with the DSP settings on the amp. Your best bet is an external eq or a receiver with room correction software like Audyssey.

The S1 is crazy impressive, especially since it's so small. Output is similar to a Seaton Submersive and so is the sound quality. I've heard dual SVS Ultras and they are not in the same league as my Submersive. The Submersive has more output and sounds tighter doing it - I've heard the S1 and S2 and they are awesome. Congrats! smile.gif

Hi,

I got the 240 volt S1 for couple of months already.

My only complain is where didn't I get it earlier.

I went to audition the Kreisel new sub DXD -12012 and Submersive, I still prefer my S1 for overall performance for both Music & HT.

Cheers and you will be happy with your S1.

Marcus

@jedirum , Tnx for the reaction. Ill think i wil boost the sub with the antimode, this thing is boosting the frequency from 15hz. Till about 25 Hz. This thing also cerrects the delay. See: http://www.dspeaker.com/en/products/anti-mode-8033.shtml

@carp, Marcus Gan, Frohlich Thanks for the reaktions! The S2 is realy a BAD ASS Sub.

That certainly looks like it will do the trick.

Small world, I noticed you are from the Netherlands. I was born in Belgium (Waterloo) and lived there until I was 7 when my dad had a job transfer back to the states. BTW, my neighbors are pretty far away as we have a decent size yard. My kitchen upstairs, however, often feels the pain of my subwoofer smile.gif

We in the Netherlands ( city Nijmegen ) mostly live with 2 families under one roof so i hope my neighbours arent lot at home. The S1 will tair up the House down ( i don't no if i am writing that correcty?). We also look at the family Pfaf on the television maybe you know him from when you were smal when you were a kid. He was a prffesional footballplayer. Nice to heare from you. There is also an other Belg on the forum, his name is Timvg!

We must have a shootout in the Netherlands with the S2, i am sure that it will be the winner! But i think that the houses overhere are to small for this GIANT S2 MUSCLESUB. I think the S1 allready destroys the rest of the subs. Especially in combination with the Noesis 212HT LOL!

The OS is bigger ... but weighs the same ... and it has been to several GTG's. Besides,

Jeff's strong (for a little guy) and so is his own sherpa ... tongue.gif

Anyone have pics with the grill installed on the S1? And, has anyone requested for the amp to be installed on the side, than on the back panel? Along with pics? I'm about ready to order duals, just waiting on a response from Jeff if the side installation is feasible.

I'll be replacing dual SB13 Ultras. I'm hoping for a good upgrade. smile.gif

Nevermind on the side amp installation, I called him direct. It can be done, but I think I can work with the stock location after all.
