Hello...
Does anyone here know anything about Golden Ear subs?
I have space limitations and need something small but impactful.... about 17 inches high X 20 inches wide. It would sit in a custom entertainment center behind a cloth grill. I know may suggest ID. My budget is around $500.00.
Listen to both movies and music. Any input or suggestions appreciated.

I own HSU Subs, but I must say I heard both the 10 inch and 8 inch a few weeks ago and actually was really impressed. Not huge bass.. but really clean, tight, and musical..and they blended seamlessly with the Golden Ear Speakers( the small ones), that I heard them with.
Loved the Trapozoid shape as well!

I own the Force Field 4, and here is my review: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...=force+field+4.

I agree with Frostylou except the part about "not huge bass." It provides very solid bass in my room, which is a fairly good size.

I should have clarified that. I thought they were plenty big. Just not 'call attention to themselves big', as they blended so seamlessly with the rest of the speakers.
I think they are really super subwoofers.
And I just LOVE their look.
