So I am on a pretty strict budget, thinking sub $100 (I can stretch a little but that's my goal)

Current bedroom set up is the pioneer sp bs22 and a budget denon avr. Uses are about 70% netflix/sports and the rest music, but mostly tv watching.

Room dimensions are 12.5x9.5x7.5 -- So a very small room. So far I've been looking at the Polk PSW10 for $90 new. Also open to buying refurbished/lightly used. Thanks for any suggestions!

Can you list your location? At $100 you should definitely be looking at the used market. If we know your craigslist metro area we could look for good options.

Among new options pretty much the only game in town is the Dayton subs from Parts Express which deliver a lot of bang for the buck. With that tiny room you don't need a monster sub, so the Sub1000 is probably plenty: http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-...oofer--300-628

The Polk subs don't get a lot of respect but for a bedroom system in a tiny room probably fine.
