Hey man. I didn't start this thread, but I did buy a PC12-NSD last December, so I can tell you how it's been going for me.
My listening area is just south of 1500 cubic feet, with a six foot opening to the rest of my small apartment. The listening position is three feet from the rear wall, about 12 feet from the sub; the sub's position is just inside my left main, about 25 inches from the front wall and about 30 inches from the left wall.
I've spent the last year collecting movies from the Master List thread. The novelty hasn't worn off. Just recently I started running movies on my system without Dynamic Volume, opting instead just to turn the sub channel down, because lately I've enjoyed the originally recorded dynamics, even at a lower master volume. Anyway, holy smokes, some of the heavy hitters, (War of the Worlds, How To Train Your Dragon, Hot Fuzz, Live Free Or Die Hard, etc.) have me rolling the sub channel down to -10, that's against an Audyssey recommendation of -5. Granted, other users in larger spaces, or with bigger bass appetites, which seems around here to be almost everybody, might not be so bowled over by this thing as I still am, but I still am.
There've been no incidents all year--no weird noises or operational hiccups, perfect behavior this whole time. I bought it as a warehouse special, which means it was probably previously owned to begin with, which is even more telling.
Coming here all the time, sometimes I get a touch of that bass greed that tells me to upgrade because there are things I can upgrade to. What's been keeping my wallet heavy this year is the experience I have whenever I actually run my setup. Still thrilled a year later
