Hi!

Anyone knows where I can find a speaker for my klipsch promedia 2.1 subwoofer?

Mine is all ripped up so I want to replace it.

I can provide photos and measurements, not sure what info is needed.

Thanks in advance!

What kind of speakers are you looking for, the kind that go to the unit?

Did you try calling Klipsch for a replacement?

Probably be a challenge to find an aftermarket replacement if you don't know the OEM speakers T/S parameters.

Hi guys!

Thanks for the replies.

I'm looking for just the speaker unit that goes inside the subwoofer box.

Please find attached the photos of the part.

On the back it just says B16AR90PF-01FW 0012.

I emailed Klipsch but they didn't answer me so far.

Thanks once again!

Great replies guys!

Ebay... feel so stupid, why didn't think of that before!

I don't know of any audio shop around here, will have to look around. Do you think it will last longer than a new / replacement speaker? Would it normally be cheaper or more expensive?

Thanks!

$47 in posting expenses... Too expensive.

I guess I'll have to take it to some audio shop if there is such a thing around here.

Thanks guys!

Have same [really nice] promedia 2.1 sound system, woofer speaker volume has dropped to maybe 10% and is distorted.

Opened back of woofer nothing obvious burned on the cicuit boards [but amp could still be blown] with speakers operating I felt woofer cone with my hand and was vibrating, so is getting some kind of a signal from amp, and so I am guessing [hoping] it is a blown speaker.

I didn't like the idea buying used Klipsch woofer on Ebay, so I ordered Dayton DA175-8 7" Aluminum Cone Woofer on Amazon for around $30. I should get the Dayton woofer in about a week, I will try to post an update on whether it worked and [if so] how it sounds.
