Unfortunately, due to rising production and shipping costs, we will never again offer the LFM-1 EX at the $549 w/free shipping sale price you have seen in the past. While we will continue to absorb these higher costs and maintain our everyday price of $649 plus shipping, we simply cannot continue to promote the unit at such a deep discount.

Best Regards,
Scott

Ditto. I'll never understand the "nickel-and-diming" mentality when it comes to getting a good deal on something.

Will they add anything to the sale. Was hoping for the Plus.

Nope, the server seems to be holding up quite well. Orders are flying in and graphics appear to be loading as well as we could hope!

It almost seems that consumers feel almost entitled that the retailers should sell below cost and lose money (sell below invoice).

For $600 this is an awesome sub.

I am not sure how shipping works out for Canadians though, but if you have a US address to ship to, it could still be very cost effective

x2

It's not as if there's been a deluge of people in this thread slamming Outlaw for the pricing, I think everyone recognizes it's still a good deal even if we had hoped for a slightly better one.

Said server was down for maintenance when I tried to log in.
Must have been a short time thing as minutes later I was able to place an order.

They may still get some of my money looking at the 7125 only have a 5.1 so really don't need the other two and not sure how much of a difference it will make with an Onkyo 809 driving Klipsch RF-82II they are pretty efficient.

That's not the point. It's just bad timing on my part. Besides, the EX doesn't cost more to make than the Plus. It's just slightly larger with the same parts. I think the $50 increase is to maintain the $100 price difference between the two models. It's possible the Plus doesn't sell as well when people like myself skipped the Plus sale because we assumed an EX would come around for only $50 more.

Lower extension though. By how much? Not sure

No subwoofer I've heard has been able to produce the bass I've experienced in the Corps!

Must..stop...buying...every bluray release...

This isn't correct, the EX certainly has a higher cost then the Plus. Aside from material costs, the extra weight and size affects business shipping costs, not just to your door but also from the factory to the warehouse. On the other hand, I can't say whether it completely justifies the $100 mark-up, but we have to consider that Outlaw may not sell nearly as many EXs due to the size.

I wish I wasn't still in the process of paying off all my credit cards. I'd love to add two more EXs to my one
