I'm looking for input from anyone who can suggest ways to get my sub to work in my 2.0 playback set-up. I know there are several passive and active low pass crossovers available out there, so any opinions are welcome.

I use an SVS with BASH amp that has high level RCA inputs as well as low level speaker inputs. I would like to set-up this 2.1 conversion from my upcoming W4S DAC2 outputs.

Go topless.

Your W4S Dac will have both XLR and RCA analog outputs.

Run the XLR outs to your main 2 channel amp.

Run the RCA outs to your L&R sub inputs.

Adjust the frequency and volume of the sub to "roll in" below the normal Low Frequency of your main speakers, being careful to minimize the frequencies produced by both the sub and the mains.
