Alright. Well I'm getting two top end Clarion subs for free, and I need a box. I found this one for 60 bucks and I like the looks of it.

I've never heard one of these. What are the pro's and con's? I'll probably run 800watt's to the subs if it makes a difference. If not, I'll buy a ported sub box without the glass front.

Thanks guys!

He also said it's mae from 3/4 MDF (he think's). Is this good? I'm new to subwoofers and enclosures so I'm blind.

Is that plexiglass???

Hmm I'd say check with DIY guys. They can help you with enclosures. Once you pick out one you like I think eD is still making custom enclosures

No subwoofer I've heard has been able to produce the bass I've experienced in the Corps!

Must..stop...buying...every bluray release...

I'll throw a link to this thread there, don't want to make people think I'm spamming haha.

Thanks.

You would probably get better response in the Car Audio section since this looks like a car audio sub & box. This section is for Home Audio subs.

You will also need more specific info on the subs (model number or thiele small parameters) and box (cubic feet per sub, port length/tuning, etc)

Also that looks like a bandpass box, those are good for maximum SPL but only for a narrow frequency range. Not great for overall sound quality. May not be a good match for the subs depending on specs. Good luck!
