I hear about the Profunder subwoofers from time to time, but wonder about usage. i.e. what's the minimum square footage a room can be, to really get the most out of them.

They're passive, does that mean they'll need an external crossover setup or can I run them directlly from the subwoofer out of my amplifier?

There's a pair on e bay going for 600 and I'd like to know if it's a worthwhile deal.

Any info would be apreciated,

It's my understandig that you will need an external crossover and a separate power amp.

Forum member rhbblb1 owns a pair of Profunder 624's. Maybe you can send him a Private Message.

Buying speakers that may be quite old and extremely rare is something of gamble. If you need replacement drivers, that could be a difficult proposition.
