I still want a 12" sub. This sub was quite nice for me, shook the chairs and door. Money wise, $400 or less.

BIC PL-200 for ~$330:
- 12" driver
- 250W RMS
- 22-200Hz +/- ?dB

If a 15" sub for $425 intrigues you, there's the Premier Acoustic PA-150:
- 15" driver
- 250W RMS
- 25-180Hz +/- ?dB

(See for mini-reviews on, and specs for, both subs.)

Mine also died. I did some research and it appears that it is common for the amp circuit to fry on these. There is a company on Ebay that claims they can repaird the amp circuit to where it won't happen again for about $145.00. I have removed my amp circuit and I am getting ready to send it to them for repair.

Here is the Ebay listing:

If you are not willing to repair yours are you willing to sell it? Email me at if so. I am thinking about running two subs if possible.
