I've scanned through threads and reviews. I do not have the option to hear either in person. Does anyone have pros/cons between the two? I have about 300 sq. ft room, but attached to another 400sq. ft I cannot close off. The room has 9ft ceilings and carpet. I want to stay under $400 for the first sub, but will probably wind up going a multiple sub approach. Can only sneak so much by the wife at a time smile.gif

Right now I have no subwoofer.

Any advice? Or did I ask a dumb noob question and compare two completely different subs? This will be 50/50 music/movies.

The RW-12d is often cited as being good for HT, but isn't generally considered musical. What type of music do you listen to? If it's rap/hip hop, or something along those lines, it might be fine. For anything that requires a bit more detail it may not be the best choice.

If you take yourself too seriously expect me to do the exact opposite
