unit died. internal fuse on board was blown. doesnt specify what voltage it is. used a 3amp and it popped immediately. will a different one possibly work or can you sell me a refurbished amp for my client? serial 643471215

In most cases when the fuse blows on the SPL series subwoofer it is because of some other issue. Replacing the blown fuse often results in blowing another fuse. Still, it is very inexpensive to try replacing the fuse before sending the subwoofer in for repair. The SPL series subwoofer utilizes a 250V, 8amp, 5x20mm, fast blo fuse.

If after swapping the fuse you continue to have problems, I would recommend contacting our product support team at 408-465-2851 (M-F from 7am-4:30pm)

When in comes to audio there are seldom right and wrong answers.  The opinions of "experts" are just that, and should be used as a suggestion only.  Remember at the end of the day it is your money, your system, and you will need to listen to it.
