I just got a Polk S505 from newegg, and have had it for about a week and I notice when it hits down there is a squeaking coming from the back panel. Not sure what it is has anyone else had this problem?
Your subwoofer has a rear slot port. If it's happening when running it very loud, could be the air escaping out the port. That's common with some ported subs to make some port noise when very stressed.
But you say the back panel. Is the squeaking coming instead from around the amp plate?
