If you visit the TRW web site you will see that the TRW 17 is in the Guinness Book of Records.
I don't want you to be short-changed. I can't imagine what might happen if you called the Guinness Book of Records smile.gif

110 dBs from 3hz-25hz is not hard in my room. It takes many subs but each sub is much cheaper than the TRW. Do you really think one can't do it for $20000? He is just the first to do it with something different. I bet the Matterhorn would best it too.

speakers- 9 Behringer B215XL's
subs- SI 18ht x12 IB powered by Sanway FP14K.

I was quite confused by this practice also..quoting and responding to yourself!!! As they say, only in America!

20,000 bucks isnt all that much, but i think id rather purchase a second sub2 for myself smile.gif

I still havnt had a chance to hear the kk 5000mk3. I owned one of Ken Kreisels last subs when he was a part of m&k, the M&k mx5100sf...that was a sub with superb sound quality cool.gif

It is lots of money when one can get the same results for much less.

He was answering one of the many voices in his head and got confused? He thinks he's the only person worthy of being quoted? He accidentally quoted the wrong post? He quoted himself to make a point about "well-heeled"?

Folks can go from a to b in a $500 wreck..but folks still pay $200,000 dollars for a Ferrari? Why is that when they can do the same job for less? I know you guys mean well..but it isnt always about going the cheapest route..its nice to have options and maybe do things a bit differently.

I have a lot of time for Mr Kreisel, so hope his new venture is successful..looking forward to the speakers also smile.gif

Yes, but we are not talking ferraris. The TRW only covers only 3 octaves and can't be used for music. Who says the subs I am talking about won't perform like a Ferrari anyways. I have heard systems that cost much more than the TRW, just because someone puts a high price tag on it does not mean it is better. You are also assuming these are ferraris in the audio world.
