I haven't put on my Angel (silver cable) yet... it's still connected to my macbook. Should I run it to connect from PC to the A2 speakers? Rite now my PC & A2 speakers are connected with that crappy generic cable yuck.tongue.gif

If you've noticed by all the responses - nobody wants to be the first to say it.

meh -- what do I have to lose.

Send the cable back and buy a vacation.

Your going to need it when you realize you've been so scammed so hard on the cable prices.

Buy one of these.

Better yet - before you send the cable back buy the monoprice cable and blind test which cable you like better with a friend switching them out.

Your gonna need that vacation to cool off.

Here's the second cable match you need - http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021816&p_id=9297&seq=1&format=2

I think you are wasting keystrokes arguing with him. Anyone who spent that much on subwoofer cables is going to be so emotionally invested in them that they will hear a difference whether it exists or not. Logic is not going to work here.

Don't forget to upgrade the "crappy" rca jacks on the sub and all the tiny little copper traces on the plate amp. While upgrading that, you can change all the capacitors and resistors to some high quality audiophile ones. Do the same for the computer and sound card.

This guy has got to be trolling. Just enjoy the amount of effort he went into making it look legit. People are just not this dumb...they don't exist. And if they did, they'd prob walked in front of a bus by now.

I disagree... unless he is some kind of distributor OR was paid by AudioRIPOFF and/OR got those silly cables for free.

I just had to look at this, as I followed the original post for a bit. However, this 're-post/update' of sorts is...well...just — I don't know. I won't bother commenting on the myriad of things wrong with this ideology; it's just too obvious, obviously. What I find most puzzling is that IF he is trolling (which I cannot understand taking part in in the least anyway; it's an odd cyber phenomenon...adults partaking in a child's perception of what I can only speculate as amusement), why would someone approaching 2.300 posts bother to do so, only to risk jeopardizing any shred of credibility he may have had contained within his past as a member?

Cable debates, posturing, etc...I'm way past that. I just want to know why.

I know the PC is in ugly position right now..... it's a temporary location. Haven't decided where I'm gonna move to. That's a Lian Li aluminum case, good solid built stuff, but it does look kinda ugly.... not really for show. Concentrate on the wooden cabinet and sub and CABLES lol...

Yes. Didn't you see the pics? The wax (Brazilian Carnauba wax) has been applied several times already over the past few months.

Haven't waxed my Sydney cable yet..... it's a $200 cable. Should I wax it? ah f@ck that.... i'm tired lol.

Yes I wax my plasma TV's too. That's normal. The wax isn't only made for waxing cars. Well, I wax my car too, once a week.

Just to reiterate, the $1200 silver (Angel) cable was connected to my macbook, providing top notch sound out of my A2 speakers. Those A2 speakers have been moved to my HTPC setup (as you can see in the pics posted earlier). The $1200 cable is now going to run from A2 speakers to HTPC's Xonar DX7.1 sound card..... So that's $1400 worth cables alone.

Angel cable is a directional cable, connected to the input of the 3.5mm mini input. Sydney cable that's connected to Sub, is also directional. That's a near top-end copper.
dscf0832q.jpg

dscf0830t.jpg
Cables connected to the Output of the Xonar DX7.1 sound card on my HTPC. Guess which one is Angel and which one is Sydney??? POP QUIZ!
dscf0834v.jpg
Pop Quiz?
dscf0835wh.jpg
God those cables look so hot. Exotic cables bebe. Look at that reflection! Which one is Angel and which one is Sydney? biggrin.gif Cheez is waiting for your answer.

Hey it's not my fault you can't afford nice cables...

Hey, so leaving the sub inside the cabinet with doors closed is a bad thing? You mean aesthetically or sonically? I haven't moved them yet. It's either PC goes in or the sub. One has to stay out. No room for both to be in the cabinet lol..... that damn Lian Li case is so big and bulky. mad.gif

So you are telling us that you can tell the cable makes a big difference yet you don't know that placing a sub inside of a cabinet is an acoustically bad idea?

This is like some Andy Kaufman-type sh*t, it's performance art and the gag is that yes, somebody really will go this far just to make us laugh. Pretty selfless, actually. Thanks, guy :-)
