I know Stephen Ponte was at TC sounds but I don't know about Ron. Where is Ron now? I thought he left SVS.

It seems like TC sounds stalled out on their new subwoofer line. I hate to say it. But I'm not surprised. It seems TC sounds has struggled and stalled for several years now.

Not yet they haven't, but unless something goes horribly wrong they should be at some point.

If you take yourself too seriously expect me to do the exact opposite

Ron did leave SVS, and ended up at TC Sounds. He was there for a few years, but then left to pursue another venture outside of audio. I haven't heard from him in probably 6 months though, so I'm not sure how his new endeavor is working out.

Unfortunately, long delays in new product delivery aren't terribly uncommon now. I've had a standing invitation to test the new JL Audio E-112 since it was first announced, which was over a year ago. Even the NXG NX-BAS-500 I reviewed last month took the better part of a year to ship. Working with overseas vendors makes things less expensive, but does seem to increase product development times. To an extent I'm speculating, but I imagine that situation is exasperating the issue. PSA is developing and shipping new products at a blistering pace, which certainly implies keeping things local cuts the lead time significantly.
