Dedicated theater room

11' width x 21' length x 9' height

Currently have a SVS PB13 Ultra (1) in the room. Bass is good but I want more =)

actually Im redoing the theater room now and I have upgraded to M&K S-150Ps for the LCR and Rear surrounds. SS-150THX for the side surrounds. It sounds good but I think I can improve my bass.

So here is what I am looking at:

2 x Seaton SubMersive-HP (going to have Onkyo PRC-5508 to eq both subs)

or 2 x JTR Captivator passive with pro amps..

Only negative on the JTRs is that they are too tall for the front, 30" where the Submersives are only 25.5"

Whats the current consensus on which is better for the buck?

Educate me please.

You should take a look at the Kreisel MX 5000 MK3. The feedback on these subs in very positive. The member with Duals is really happy. smile.gif
