I have the 8033C that I use with an SVS SB12-NSD, and find that it does as prescribed. I, too, wouldn't go without it. At first, I wasn't certain I needed it and tried selling it. When I got no takers, I kept it...and am quite glad I did in hindsight. I switch so that I can listen without it every so often on certain tracks, and now realize what it brings to the table. I have commented about it on this forum before; it really does what it's being sold as. No matter what I listen to, everything (bass) sounds, well, near-astonishing. I cannot locate where the sub is (which was ALWAYS an issue in the past, no matter what sub I used) in the least; and following bass lines or lower piano registers can be an extremely fun and rewarding experience. It's also nice that it is literally a set-it-and-forget-it unit. I'd recommend to anyone (also, I think there's one being sold on A'Gon right now...that is, if you dare go there anymore). And yes, the mic comes with when you purchase it.

I personally have not; but I have a friend with the 'S' version, I believe, who uses it with dual subs in his HT/music room (with a pair of Velodynes). You would no doubt achieve great results with your Epiks (lucky).

Allright thanks, i guess the new s version, has two out puts, for the subs, and has more filters, but i still cant decide what one to get, the new s version is like $100 more i think, well i guess i will make up my mind this Friday. Do you guys think i need the extra filters?. Also the newer versions have more filters then the previous versions. Thanks

If you go to advance search, title search only and use separate searches for "8033" and "anti mode", you'll a number of threads talking about this product, including thread(s) talking about the newer versions, dual sub usage, comparisons vs other sub EQ products etc. Wealth of knowledge through the existing threads...also much quicker than waiting for responses to a new thread.

you can connect two subs with Y-splitter or use second output (180) and switch the phase on the second sub.
It will EQ both as a single unit which worked great for me. I used to run 2 Epik Legends w/ it,

What he said;)

With that, I honestly think it all depends on what you're trying to achieve. The more information you can provide, the better. You can hook-up two subs with either; but as you well-know now, the S has more features. I personally didn't feel more filters would be necessary for my situation, but it may be for others; the C already has 24 filters — just fine for my 2-channel setup.

I have been a early user of the Anti Mode. Currently using the 8033s with 3 Submersives.

I have a VSF-15H sub that I just recently set up with the antmode 8033c. I was a little hesistant doing it at first, as when I did some research many users stated that the sub becomes a little more subdued, or less "violent". I really like mid bass punch so this was a little concerning. My sub is located in a corner and I really wanted to get rid of some of the boominess. I found a great deal for one on audiogon and decided to pull the trigger. I am really glad I did so. The bass is MUCHHH tighter than before and all of the boominess is gone! Although I might have lost a little mid bass punch (but not a lot) it sounds much better and cleaner. It might take a little while for your ears to get used to new sound.. but it is much better IMO. I dont think I will ever set up a subwoofer without equalization anymore. It truly makes a big difference (at least in my room).

This is REALLY well stated, and mirrors much of what I experienced as well.
