If this was already posted this will serve as another reminder, the Outlaw LFM-1 EX is on sale for the new lowest price of $599 plus free shipping:

It's a shame that the days of $549 are over. Even so, at $599 the EX is still a wonderful buy.

Nothing at this price has response to 16Hz (DIY is excused).

Memorial Day sales are a blessing smile.gif

would this sub be overkill for the andrew jones pioneer budget speakers sp51s, c21 and bs21s?

i am using those with a bic f12 now so im wondering if replacing the bic with this outlaw sub just doesnt make much sense with my budget speakers.

i am not planning to replace the pioneers for perhaps another 3 or 4 years unless there is an incredible deal on better speakers that makes the hassle of selling the pioneers worth it.

It's not overkill, your system will just have better bass. It would simply improve the overall sound. Get it and compare your BIC sub with it, you will see.

I have that same speaker setup and I am considering this sub as well. Might be the next sale before I can convince myself to spend almost 3x what I spent on the speakers for just a subwoofer. My justification is that I will be able to use this sub if and when I get nicer speakers down the road a few years and hopefully add a second when I have a dedicated theater room.
