This is for a room about 19'x17'x9'. My current system is Polk RTi A5/CSi 3/FXi A4 with Mirage Omni S8 for a 5.1 setup. The receiver is Onkyo NR608. It is 50/50 for music and movie/TV.

I'd like to upgrade the sub for a more powerful one and move the mirage to bedroom. My budget is around $300 or a bit higher than that. Currently I'm debating between Klipsch RW-12d (onsale at newegg for $280) and Jamo SUB 650 (under $300 at Vanns). For all you gurus please give some advice on which one is a better sub or better fit for my system and my needs? I usually do not play things very loud or want to literally shake the house.

Appreciate any input!

You try this?

"I realize that somebody playing free music isn't as commercial as a hamburger stand. But is it because you can eat a hamburger and hold it in your hand and you can't do that with music? Is it too free to control?" - Don Van Vliet (aka Captain Beefheart) discussing commercial success in the music biz
