Hi, I just got a Polk PSW505 and I was wondering if it can be put directly on carpet? I noticed when I did that the bottom of the grille was touching/maybe sinking into the carpet.

Feeling like a noob,

If the slot port at the back of the sub isn't being blocked, there's no problem. But if you're still worried about it, cut a piece of wood to the width x depth dimensions of the sub, put the wood on the carpet and sit the sub on top of the wood.

Thank you kindly! It definitely isn't blocking anything.
