Hey guys I have a BIC v1220 and want a upgrade to something that has more Puch. My room is 12 x 14 tile floor. I mostly listen to Action movies, Dubsteb and PC gaming. My sub is connected to a Sony STR-DN1010. My setup is front speakers Sony ss-f6000p, center Sony ss-cn5000p, rear and back are ss-b1000. My Budget is $300 to $400. I've had my BIC v1200 for 5 years and still sounds good but I simply want more clean hard hitting BASS. I was thinking on getting the BIC VENTURI VK-12 1000-watt kevlar series front-firing powered subwoofer.

I originally planned on getting the v1220 but after a lot of research I finally decided on the Klipsch RW12D. Definitely happy with its performance so far. I'd also look at HSU as they have a sub thats around $350.

I'd also look at the Bic pl200 if you want to stay Bic

Thanks guys I made up my mind and im going with the BIC PL-200 Acoustech Platinum Series Subwoofer. It's definitely an upgrade from my BIC v1220 and within my price point. Why I stick to BIC ? because its the first sub I've ever had and it was good. You see I am one of those guys that goes to CHILI'S and orders the same thing every time. The Quesadillas why because I know they are good and with my luck if I get something different it will probably suck.

Sounds good. The Pl200 & the Klipsch were my final 2 choices. I went with the Klipsch since most people seem to think its the best sub priced $300 or less. I love it so far. I'm sure you'll be happy with the bic. Let us know what you think once you get it dailed in
