Hey Guys..

I thought i'd open a thread to upload links of deals that pop up today / tomorrow for Cyber Monday.

I myself am in a position to purchase a new sub(s.) I would like to spend $600 or less, and would like to get the most output for the size..

I've been looking at :
  • SVS SB12
  • SVS SB-1000
  • BIC PL200
  • Possible Klipsch Deals

I like the price of the BIC, and this thread really shows that it's a strong performer, however, I also like the idea of purchasing a single SVS SB12 now, and possibly adding an additional SB12 later. The lack of db per dollar from the SB is a bit concerning, however, and pushes me in the direction of the PB12, or something entirely different.

http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/subwoofers/78068-audioholics-subwoofer-measurement-data-compilation-report-4.html

My system consist of :

Denon AVS 1910
Klipsch F-3 Towers
Klipsch C-3 Center
Klipsch R-5800 in Wall (2)

Please post up any deals that you feel would fit this category, and any input regarding my proposed purchases!

Thanks,
Neil Goodin

hey man, i just ordered a pb12 nsd from one call like an hour ago, there wont be any deals on these subswoofers(SVS subs), sad but true.. i paid 769 and thats free shipping etc.. u get what u pay for wink.gif

the svs subs sell very well regardless of any deals so they dont have to put any deals like hsu and other companies do..

My apologies, original post edited to state "SB12" vs PB12. Good luck with your PB12!

Price.. The PB12 is a bit outside of what I'd like to spend..

To be honest, looking at this chart, the BIC PL200 seems to be a great buy for the money. ($280 vs $650 / 769) I've taken information from DB's CEA 2010 testing and graphed it for comparison:

$600 is right where the Outlaw Audio LFM-1 EX is until Tuesday. I would definitely jump on one of those. Look how it compares to the PB12 NSD on data-bass.com.

I wonder if they would hold your order until new stock arrived based on this note :

"Free Shipping, Price Guarantee & Extended Returns on this Product."

If that was the case, newegg would allow you to "place" the order, or accept an order on an out of stock item. You could call them, but I have been ordering off and on from newegg for 10+ years, started with computer parts, and I've never seen or been able to order an "out of stock" item.
It does say available 11/29/12.......maybe when they get more stock, the price will hold up? If not, they blow em out periodically, just have to act fast.

All the amplifier hype has led me away from an Epik Subwoofer to be honest..

I had actually placed and order for a BIC PL200, then requested that the order be canceled. I received a UPS notice this morning, so made a quick call to again request that the order be canceled. It looks like I'll be getting a BIC PL200 whether I want it or not. I was just concern after placing the order that it wouldn't meet my expectations.

My current dual Sony SA W3800 setup is dirty, however, the output is actually impressive considering the price of the subwoofers ($150 per at the time) The sheer footprint of two 15s is just more than I can handle (and more than she will allow lol) in our new house. I could probably pull off a single PB12 NSD smile.gif

The Outlaw LFM-1 EX is a LOT of performance for $599 delivered.

I was leaning toward a single PSA XV-15 for $799 delivered, but now that I notice I could get my hands on a pair of EPIK Legends for the same money, I am even more torn.

I ordered an Outlaw LFM-1 EX. I currently have a Bic V1220 that I picked up last year from Walmart for $97 and previously had a Parts Express SUB-120, so I'm expecting a bit of an upgrade.
