I received my RW-12d this morning. Quite the sub for the sale price as you either know or can imagine. I haven't tried it with any movies yet but am very please with it's performance with music.

I ran audissey and it's at -1.5 db. I listened to some of my favorite music for bass. Wash by Numatic Soul is one for good tight bass and it was very good. Of course I listen to other music that
had the lower bass like Bass Test by DJ Ice Man and Feel the Bass by DJ Magic Mike. Not my kinda music but it was just a test. Yep, you can feel the bass for sure.

So next ran audissey and got the level of the Polk to the same -1.5 db and gave them both a whirl together. So, I know it's not recommed to mix two different subs but with the outcome I'm getting
I'm sticking with it. The bass runs right through you and my ear drums vibrate.

Do I need any more bass? Definately not. Do I want more? Silly question.
Another RW-12D or stick with this for awhile and go for a XV-15? No Submersive for me. Outta my budget.

I just asked this question in the Polk Audio thread. I currently have the Klipsch RW-12D. I am thinking of buying the Polk PSW505 due to being on sale for $189.99, but I am not sure if that would be a good decision. Several people said that it would be better to go with a second Klipsch...but for $189.99 compare to $300...decisions!

Do you still have this set up?

I have since sold them and went with another sub. In the end I would just stick with two Klipsch and not pair the Polk and Klipsch. It'll work until you get into the lower bass where the Polk cannot keep up.
