The only Synergy sub 10 I can find is 200 watts not 420. Perhaps you should be more certain of what you are looking at and let us know so that we can give you better input. At roughly that price though the Klipsch RW-12d can be found at Newegg for $299 pretty often. If you can get it on sale this weekend you will be able to receive it before Christmas.

No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die!

Klipsch Sub-10:
- 10" driver
- 200W continuous / 420W peak
- 28-120Hz +/-3dB

JBL SUB150P:
- 10" driver
- 300W RMS / 500W peak
- 27-150Hz (-3dB) (according to the owner's manual)

Of the two, I'd pick the JBL. The subs have similar extension, but the JBL should offer more overall output.

The Klipsch Sub-10's are famous for amp problems which is something i would take into consideration, mine went out about a year and half after i bought it.

I would go JBL
