I have a PSW50 sub woofer with 4 satellites (2 rear M2 series & 2 front ? not sure what series) and a center RM series 2 speaker.

I'm in the process of laying out a new Home Theater for a new house to be built. I'm planning on purchasing an Onkyo TX-NR818 7.2, a Panasonic PT-AE8000u projector and a Carada 136" 2.35 Criterion screen.

I'm running out of money and need one of you experts to advise if I can use my vintage Polk 5.1 powered sub and satellites and hook it up to the Onkyo and get 7.2 separation as I have 2 extra rear M2 series speakers that came as a bonus when i bought the Polk sub & satellites.

I will purchase better speakers down the road after the wife gets over this initial price shock in building this new house.

Thanks in Advance & Happy New Year
