Recognized a similar thread regarding movies and thought I'd try and create a thread focusing on hard-hitting, bass-heavy music.

Hoping my efforts in creating this thread is to not only list music that is heavy in bass, but is also beautifully engineered, and enjoyable to listen to as well. We all have our individual preferences, but with new technological developments in music production, maybe we can share our love of art with others and help expand our tolerance and threshold of what we each consider..."beautiful to the ear." By the way, just watch your drivers when you play this $H!T smile.gif

Here's a few off the top of my mind:

****k Off - I give you bass
Ed Solo - Egyptian Horns
Distance - Radical
Bjork - Hyperballad

...With links in order:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T5mv7nz3BM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26sP2WsA5cY

Please share your favorite songs that you think other readers may enjoy listening to. I, myself, am always looking (or hearing,) smile.gif out for new sounds capable of producing eargasms smile.gif!

I highly suggest listening to the links I provided smile.gif

Nothing new here and nothing original, just some good Hard Rock to light up the subwoofers.

Sammy Hagar: "Mas Tequila"

The Black Keys: "Gold on the Ceiling"

Last one in the form of (I think) Indie Rock:

Young the Giant: "My Body"

It's not how low the bass goes but how goes the bass that goes low.

Skrillex has some deep bass tracks that i like, alot of dubstep songs have some great heavy bass.

try xKORE - Stabs. amazing track, it got some really nice bass, not boomy or crappy bass but nicely designed bass for the track.

I would have to go with PFM - Inertia from the Val Sinestra EP. I have seen so many amps and subs crap out on this track that it's not even funny.
Play this track loud at your own risk, and I don't take any responsibility for blown subs.

Here are some good bass tracks:

Also, pretty much any track from Linda Swallow or Johnny Aemekel is sure to have lots of deep bass.

Really liked that track from the Black Keys....seriously reminded me of my days living downtown Denver, blocks from the Filmore, Ogden, and other venues of heaven smile.gif
