I am the owner of two JL F113's and am considering getting an F212. But the size and weight seem ridiculous. Does anyone have suggestions for what they do if they ever need to move these beast subwoofers? I slide the 113's on an Auralex Great Gramma, but I don't know if that would work for the F212.

Thanks

I have 2 f20s and 1 cht ss18.2. I just use an L cart with a blanket when I move my stuff around.

Furniture sliders - I've found them easier than a cart because you only need to lift one corner at a time to get them under the sub. I also have a pair of F113's and these work well

Yeah, I know, that's a pretty heavy beast of a subwoofer. I still outweigh it by more than I care to admit, though, lol.

Ordered some for future use. Those look better than what's available at my local hardware store. Thanks for posting the link.

Glad to help. I've used them a lot more than I ever imagined when I first got them.

How about hauling it down / up a flight of stairs? Anyone has experience on this? I need to take my 15H to my basement and in the future might bring it back to living room. I don't get free helping hand in my current place.

I use a case of beer. Not to move the sub, of course, but as bait to lure in unsuspecting friends. tongue.gif

A cheap hand truck should work along with the beer. You'll need a strap to secure it so it won't tip forward. The ones with the built in straps are more moola.

This sounds like a good idea. I have one of the carts similar to the one we can rent from UHaul. May be couple of blankets and straps will do the trick. I will try this out sometime next week.

This is the only method I've seen a 100% success rate on.

2 1x12's....Just lay them flat on the stair steps....just push/slide the subs up the stairs...easy!
