not really an issue as what the crossover does is present such a high impedance to the amp that it never makes significant power, so it doesn't matter to the amp. That's why your tweeters don't blow out of your speakers and fly across the room every time you play a movie.
to the OP, below some frequency, typically stated as 80 Hz for most folks, there is no localization whatsoever with bass. None. Unless your head is a couple of feet wide or more, there's not a relevant difference in arrival times that your ear/brain system can process. You'd have a lot of subs and whether they'd play nicely when reproducing the same content, as is often the case, would be a wide open question . . . . and you'd still need a sub to cover the LFE channel . . .
