Hi, so I'm putting together my first home theater in my new condo. My living room is 15' x 15' with an open to the second floor ceiling which is about 20' high. The kitchen and dining room are a bit of an extension off the living room. So far I have:

2x PSB Image T6
1x PSB Image C5

and I'm considering a Marantz 5007 receiver.

I'm leaning towards the PSA XV15, but I'm not really sure if it's right for my room. I'd prefer to go with an ID company simply because most people say they are the better value but unfortunately that means I don't get to hear them in person before purchasing. My budget is under $1000. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you think the XV15 would be right for your room?

It's not that I don't think it'll be right, I simply just don't know. Does it seem like a good size for my room dimensions?

If your budget is set firm at under $1000, the XV15 would be my first choice.

Just for kicks, what would be your choice if I went a little over 1000?

My first choice would be the Hsu VTF-15H, actually it would be my only choice in that price range. ( disclaimer: I own two)

Can't you get an HSU VTF-15H for around $1000 shipped? I'd personally go with that.

If I was spending over $1000, I would go with either a FV15HP or a XS30. I own dual XS30s and almost bought dual FV15HPs, but I wanted to try a good sealed sub.
