Perhaps better modal and axial performance? Some have turned there subs and fired them into a corner, some prefer er bottom firing subs and some corner loading, the DXD's when stacked pretty much have them all covered. I believe Ken's emphasis on time domain when designing the DXD's is the main reason . All I know is I love em!

I love them too. I'm just always looking for ways to tinker with gadgets. I still plan on trying them apart but with a busy household it's hard. Setting them apart is the easy part but taking measurements and re calibrating is something else with a busy household lol.
Thank you for the explanation

Pretty much the only thing keeping me from trying as well, the house is far to busy these days, I do have all the cables necessary and with REW on hand it should be fun but need to find the time!

I don't know. I love my duo dxd 12012 subs but this wait for something to be manufactured thing is crazy. I don't see why he doesn't sell online like SVS, PSA etc. The dxd sold online for awhile then the waiting game. That's gonna make people get other brands.

I thought KK subs in the US were purchased directly through KK? Have they now created a dealer network?

Yes in the US he has a web but the issue is he sells and then no more production and it's a waiting game. SVS, PSA,HSU always have subs to sell on their site.

Oh yes, that's how the M&K in Cal used to be. Large runs of parts/drivers, but when they were out, it was a long wait for restock. I waited months and months for my MPS-5420 and 2810s, but it's always worth it with Ken's gear.
