I recently replaced the plate amps on two HSU SFT-1s(both were blown). The amps work great. However, one of the drivers are somewhat blown. These do not look like the greatest drivers, so I'm not looking to spend a bunch of money and buying from HSU at this point is out of the question. I am looking for an adequate replacement driver for the faulty unit. Does anyone know if something like below will work well?:

The only way to know what will work in the cabinet is via software response modeling of the cab. The only way to know if something might work better than the original driver is to software model it, which requires knowing the T/S specs on the driver.

Yes I understand this. I figured someone would know this considering the popularity of the products in question.

I think the woofer may still be covered under warranty.

I think HSU's drivers are warrantied for 7 years, aren't they?

Meanywhile, if you've blown two amplifiers and one driver, sounds like you need bigger subs. smile.gif
