Room size s 20lx14Wx8H, one doorway to dining/kitchen area. Moving up to a newer sub and those are two choices I'm looking at, within budget. I've read duals are better and I can always upgrade that option at a later time but, always needs a good foundation.

I'm moving from an old Polk PSW100 so, any opinions are welcome but for now, its $600 tops. Using it most for HT 75%, music/gaming 25%.

Thanks ahead of time.

PB-1000: 10" driver, 300W RMS amp, 19Hz @ -3dB
VTF-1 MK2: 10" driver, 200W RMS amp, 25Hz @ -3dB

I'd take the PB-1000, easy. It will dig deeper and, most likely, also play louder than the VTF-1 MK2.

The Rythmik LV12R - introductory-priced at $549, shipped, until tomorrow (March 15) - is another good option.

Go for the Rythmik FV12r, which is only $550 shipped at the moment, but that introductory pricing only lasts until tomorrow. It will beat them both easily.

Quite honestly, I don't know much about all three and taking all of the opinions here as they come.
Whats the reg price on the Rythmik?

I also say go for the LV12R. Not sure the regular price, but typically it doesn't have free shipping. So you're looking at probably $620 or so for the LV12R shipped after tomorrow.

$599 was the last price I saw that Brian quoted. Add shipping to that cost. $549 with free shipping is a pretty good deal assuming shipping will be added to the cost after it increases.

Congrats. Rythmik makes some great subs. Their customer support is top notch too.  Enjoy.
