OK, so All parts have been ordered up to build a pretty unique subwoofer. I thought I share it with you guys as its built through out the next few weeks.

Background, I own a Definitive Trinty subwoofer *BEAST! and a Paradigm 10". So I know what deep bass sounds like. Goal here was to create something similar to a Sunfire signature or better. Not really cost effectively, but just for doing it for the heck of doing it for fun.

Amplifier: Velodyne SC1250 (1250 RMS amplifier at 4ohms) Beast of an amp from the specs

Subwoofer: Rival 12" (2000RMS, 2+2 ohms Xmax claimed 27mm one way 53 LBS!!

Passive Radiator: Earthquake Slaps12 (Capable of huge xmax)

Box: Car subwoofer box 1.375 Sealed with 1.5 front baffle and internal brace (off the shelf, was too lazy to build one from scratch, and at $90 shipped no way I could do any better quality with my skills.

Science part of it, NO clue, just doing it and we'll see how it sounds.

Beauty will be I can take this sub to my car and use it in my house as I choose.

Most of you will say, your nuts, wasting your time. We will see!

Probably, as this is where you should be posting:

That's where you can get advice as to whether what you're doing makes sense or not.
