I recently upgraded my speakers to ascend acoustics from a small deftech pro cinema 600.
The pro sub is simply to small for the power of my new speakers and I'm looking to upgrade. I'd like to spend around 750 bucks but could sstretch that a lil. My main priority is HT but I also listen to music a decent amount, I believe I want a ported instead of sealed sub as I would rather have that extra punch and loss a little accuracy. The number 1 sub that that I'm considering at my price range is the svs pb12nsd. My dream sub would prolly be the fv15 from rythmik but I can't see drooping over a grand on a sub. I looked at the lv12r but I'm sure it will be enough. Would the lv12r be comparable to the svs pb12nsd? Its a couple hundred cheaper right now to. I'm also looking for feedback on hsu and anything else anyone wants to recommend. The room is rectangle and copletly enclosed except one large 7 foot opening on the east wall. Total room is about 14x25x8t. Any feedback is appreciated

Still can't get WAF for two subs? If you could I'd suggest a pair of Klipsch RW12d's which would run you $600 delivered if you watch for the frequent sale at Newegg. Would fill that space much better than that single SVS would.
