.......FV-15HP with the XLR in and out amplifier. My current sub is an old HSU HRSW12V subwoofer that has served me well over the years but my recent move into a much larger room found the old 150 watt, 12" sub not up to the task of delivering the goods.

Having never heard this new Rythmik sub and my only experience thus far has been an over-saturation of info via the forums and reviews, I have one question.......... am I gonna be blown away with this new addition to the family? smile.gif

Nope. Every single review of the FV15HP says it's a staggering underperformer. frown.gif

Congrats on the new sub! biggrin.gif

Underperformer? Seems everything I've read points more towards an overachiever. Care to elaborate? I still have time to cancel.

I thought the wink and the grin made it pretty clear that I was just joking... confused.gif

You should be very impressed with the FV15HP. Going from a 12", 150W sub to a highly-regarded, 15", 600W overachiever, I don't see how you couldn't be.

Congrats again on your new sub. smile.gif

LOL.... I think he's just teasing you. The FV15HP has excellent performance. Few can match the performance at the price its sold for.

Dude I'm pretty sure he's joking. I just bought a rythmik lv12r and I'm in love with it. Its the most accurate tightest sub I have ever heard in my life. I wasnt initially blown away by its output ( you can read why in the rythmik owners thread around page 164 why) been when it opened up it got more punchy. I have had it for about a week now and have really grown attached to it. I'd rate it a solid 9 out of 10 cause I belive there is always room for improvement. Ya I'm the Guy who never rates anything a 10 hahaha

Thanks peeps, I wasn't sure whether the comment was serious or sarcasm or serious sarcasm.
I'm sure y'all have had the "new purchase jitters" as we all want to think we've taken the right path towards audio bliss.

OK cool. Ill also be doing a final "after break in" review as you'll seen in the few initial reviews the sub def takes about 10 hours to get a real idea of its capabilities. Ima prolly post the review today.
