Out of curiosity, based on what specifications or measurements? Going with what you suggest looks like it would make for a very nicely made, home DIY cable but if one needs a crimper, stripper and RCA compression fittings, doesn't it get expensive fast? These are the subwoofers cables that I've settled on.
1. Or, you can burn a gallon or two of gas at $4.00/gal, shop locally, purchase parts, tools and fittings, all the while taking as much time as necessary so as to have the personal satisfaction of creating a subwoofer cable yourself.
2. Or, you can purchase the cheapest made subwoofer cable you can find, save a buck or three and every time you look at the cable, hate it,
3. Or, purchase what's linked above, delivered, for less than the price of a twelve pack of some decent beer....that you had to spend a gallon of gas to go pick up.
4. Or, one can delve into the unknown, see what they can dig up and be clueless what the outcome is going be.
All these choices.
