15x15 room, open to large living space on left, laminate floors, concrete walls, 9ft ceilings
budget <1500, relatively compact

Down to uls15, f15hp and fv15hp

2 PSA xv15's for 1500.00 shipped. Imo they are currently the best bang for buck 15" sub on the market and customer service is second to none! I prefer the downfiring look as well, especially with kids.

If you only have room for one sub then I would probably go with the FV15HP as it will give the most output.

+1 to dual PSA XV15s. For less than $20 over your budget cap ($1,518.10, shipped), you'll end up with two powerful and well-rated subs.

If it must be a single sub only, +1 to the Rythmik FV15HP ($1,274 + shipping).

How much cubic footage total???

If not more than 3500-4000, yes to the dual PSAs!
